The south direction is not ominous, but one should not sleep with one's head in that direction; Find out the reason behind it!

 The south direction is known as Yama's direction so there is a lot of confusion about it, let's get rid of it.

Children have many questions in childhood.  Sensible parents from time to time dispel children's doubts.  The rest of the parents suppress the child's medical attitude by saying 'gossip'.  By the same token, many things are done according to anecdotal information.  However, if someone asks what is the scripture behind it, we have no answer.  Because we have never tried to find out.  Hence the attempt to expose some of these traditional beliefs.

Sleep is the most important part of your routine.  Our whole day depends on it.  However, if the sleep is insufficient, it will have an adverse effect on the next day.  One of the ways to avoid it is to sleep with your feet facing south.

 In a book based on theology of Vedvani Prakashan, this belief is explained in detail.  According to the scriptures, it is forbidden to sleep with one's feet facing south.  This is also confirmed by science.  Every molecule in the universe has a magnetic attraction and it is seen that every particle is attracted to some huge particle.  As a result, every particle has a kind of orbital motion.  Our earth is also attracted to the sun by magnetism.  The sun itself is magnetically attracted to a larger sun.

This universe is constantly attracted to the star called 'Dhruv'.  Atomic particles in the body are attracted to the direction around the pole star.  Even the food in the stomach is subtly drawn in that direction.  Therefore, the body automatically gets the benefit of natural magnetic attraction by stepping towards the north.  On the other hand, if you step south, the attraction of all the microscopic fibers in the body will be in the opposite direction and it will interfere with digestion.  Moreover, due to the reverse action of the nerves, the head gets tingled.  As a result, sleep is not satisfactory.  Bad dreams keep coming.  Often wakes up.  So the scripture says don't sleep with your feet facing south.  East-West, North does not cause disaster in all three directions. 

Why is the south direction considered inauspicious?

The word 'south' is more auspicious than left or left.  At the same time, the perception of the society about the direction is not going to go away easily.  There is an ombudsman in each direction.  Due to a kind of hatred and disgust towards the real Yama, the south direction was also considered waste.  This stage would have reached to the point where the south direction is only mentioned in the Yajna process, but it is avoided and called 'Avachi'.

 Is there anything that Yama and its south direction can be considered ominous or wasteful in the true sense?  That is the big question.  If Yama had not done his job, what a terrible disaster would have occurred.  How disgusting is Yama, who draws the souls of those who have completed the work of this world for the sake of this birth, and incorporates them into us, purifying their faults?

Yama means regulation or control.  Every detail in the world requires regulation.  Therefore, Yama is frequently mentioned in Yajna Karma, especially in Shantikarma.  He was worshiped.  The course of evolution is from south to north.  Eventually the rhythm goes south again.  The magnet in the earth's belly is the same as the south-north.  So when sleeping at night, one should sleep with the head facing south and the feet facing north.
