Nipple pain Women's health: Sudden nipple pain, when does itching occur? Take these measures to avoid this unexplained problem

Nipple pain Women's health: Symptoms of nipple pain are also associated with breast cancer. But breast cancer is not the only cause of pain. So there are some things every woman needs to know.

Women who breastfeed their babies also complain of nipple pain. This is a common symptom in breastfeeding mothers.

Nipple pain occurs in women after the age of 30 years. These pains are caused by a number of factors such as changes in hormones, increased breast size, etc. Nipple pain is not a good symptom, you should consult a doctor if this problem occurs. Symptoms of pain in the nipples are also associated with breast cancer. But breast cancer is not the only cause of pain. So there are some things every woman needs to know. Gynecologist Dr. Deepa Sharma has given more

information about this while talking to Only My Health. (Nipple pain reason)

After 30 years, many hormonal changes are felt

Hormonal changes take place in the body after the age of 30 years. Anything can happen after your period or the onset of pregnancy. In old age, the cycle of estrogen and progesterone hormones deteriorates, if hormonal changes cause pain in the nipples, focus on a healthy diet. Consult a doctor if you feel more severe pain.

You should exercise daily, at least reduce the intake of tea or coffee. The diet should be high in anti-oxidants, fresh fruits and vegetables contain high levels of anti-oxidants, so you should eat fresh fruits and vegetables every day. In addition, you should also remember not to consume alcohol.

Breastfeeding can cause pain in the nipples

Women who breastfeed their babies also complain of nipple pain. This is a common symptom in breastfeeding mothers. It hurts when the baby presses the nipples to drink milk. Not every woman feels pain but some do.

Dr. Seema said that you also need to keep in mind that breastfeeding does not cause much pain, but you can get pain when the baby is not able to drink

milk properly. Nipple pain can also be caused by an infection in the milk duct. If you notice an infection, feel pain, swelling and heaviness in the nipples, see a doctor immediately.

Infections cause pain

If you try to remove hair by shaving or vaccinating the breast area, you may feel pain in the nipples. Hair removal can cause swelling, inflammation and itching. There is a risk of infection due to shaving or waxing, so avoid this method. Injuries can cause pain to the nipples.

Feel the pain as the size increases

Due to the increase in breast size, women often report pain in the nipples after 30. This can also happen if you wear the wrong bra. Due to the increasing size of the bra, women do not get a bra of their size, which can cause pain in the nipples. If you are wearing a very tight bra or your bra is too tight, there may be pain in the nipples, so you choose a bra of your size and wear it.

You may feel pain if you are running, so don't wear the wrong bra for too long. Dr. Deepa said that you should also keep in mind that your weight is under control, you do not need to do anything different to reduce the size of the breasts, if the body weight is less then the size of the breasts will also decrease, for this you should do yoga and exercise daily.

 Fear of cancer

Some women walk or run fast, causing friction and severe pain in the nipples. Some women associate it with breast is necessarily cancer. Even if your physical activity is high, you may still have breast pain. You should wear comfortable clothing and a supporting bra while running or doing physical activities.

How to reduce pain in nipples?

1) You can use ice to reduce pain in nipples. Wrapping 2 pieces of ice in a clean cloth will give relief.

2) If you are breastfeeding, apply the milk on the nipples after feeding and let the baby dry so that he does not feel any pain.

3) If there is pain in the breasts or nipples, you can apply a paste of mild cream or aloe vera gel on the breasts, this will reduce the pain.

4) If there is excessive pain in the nipples, remove the bra and wear comfortable clothes. Often tight clothing also causes pain in the nipples.

5) Massage with coconut oil also helps in reducing pain in nipples. Heat coconut oil lightly and massage the nipples. If you do not feel well in one to two days after taking this remedy, consult a doctor immediately.
